L.L.M. (Master of Law)

LLM Full Form is Master of Legislative Laws. LLM is a 2 years postgraduate degree law. Master of Law helps gaining an in-depth knowledge of a particular field of law through intensive research in that field of law. Master of Laws offers various specializations such as International Law, Corporate Law, Business Law, Criminal Law.

LLM Eligibility is that students must clear either 3 years LLB degree or BA LLB /BSc LLB /BBA LLB degree of 5 years with 50-60% aggregate scores. LLM Admission 2022 is done on the basis of performance in various law entrance exams such as CLAT, LSAT, and other university-level exams such as IPU CET, DUET, etc.

MA ( Master Of Arts )

MA or Master of Arts is a postgraduate degree available to individuals who have earned their bachelor’s degree (also known as, undergraduate degree). The degree is offered in various specialisations at various colleges and universities in India and abroad. The graduate-level of study is mostly focused on the humanities and social sciences field. The duration of an MA course is usually two years Candidates who possess a graduation degree can only pursue an MA course. The degree can be pursued as a full-time course, part-time course, correspondence or distance mode. MA is a specialised course in which aspirants are offered in-depth knowledge of the discipline they have selected. The eligibility parameters for a MA programme states that

M.Com (Master Of Commerce)

Masters of Commerce or MCom is a post graduate level course ideal for candidates who wish to make a career in banking financial services and insurance (BFSI) as well as accounting and commerce sectors. The two-year course delves deeper into the functioning of the economy, capital, revenue, trade, taxes, etc. taught in BCom.

Since MCom is a specialized area in itself, only those candidates who have pursued BCom or BCom (H), can pursue it. MCom is also a good option for CA/CS candidates. However, not many CA/CS aspirants pursue MCom as CA/CS courses can be pursued after Class 12. MCom or Masters in Commerce is a two-year post-graduation degree offered at various colleges in India.

PGDCA (Postgradute Diploma Computer Application )

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) is a one year long professional post-graduate programme for candidates wanting to delve deeper into the world of computer application development.

M.Ed (Master Of Education)

MEd or Master of Education is a master degree course that deals with the study of new methods of teaching and educational research. The programme focuses on different aspects of education including instruction, curriculum, counselling, leadership, and educational technology. The regulatory body in charge of the MEd programme is the National Council of Higher Education (NCHE).

MEd is of two years duration divided into four semesters. However, some universities/ colleges also offer a one-year duration MEd programme. The course is offered in various subjects and specialisations.

Candidates can pursue MEd in distance education and regular mode. After the completion of the MEd course, candidates can choose to work not only as teachers but also as counsellors, administrators, headmasters, etc.

M.Sc (Master Of Science)

Full form of M.Sc is Master of Science (MSc). MSc is a two-year duration postgraduate degree course offered by universities and colleges in various specialised Science fields such as Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Environmental Sciences, Food Sciences, Life Sciences, and so on.
